Kistücsök is a family-run business that has been operating for over 30 years in the heart of Balatonszemes. The restaurant’s story began in 1992 under the leadership of owner Balázs Csapody, his wife Huga (Katalin Csapody), and head chef László Jahni. The restaurant has remained committed to year-round hospitality at Lake Balaton. Its culinary philosophy is based on the use of local and seasonal ingredients, combined with traditional Hungarian dishes. In 2021, the restaurant expanded with the opening of its four-star hotel, offering 21 rooms. Guests can also visit the Chef’s Room, where thematic gastronomic programs are held and a seasonal 6+2 course menu can be enjoyed.
