Steps

1

Prepare Prawns & Marinade

Peel and devein the king prawns, leaving the tails on if desired. In a bowl, combine the juice and zest of one lime, minced garlic, finely chopped red chili, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the prawns to the marinade, toss to coat, and let them marinate for 10-15 minutes at room temperature. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water during this time.

2

Skewer & Cook

Thread 4-5 marinated prawns onto each skewer. Heat a grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, until the prawns turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

3

Serve

Remove the skewers from the heat. Squeeze the juice of the remaining lime over the cooked prawns and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

Extra Tips

Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning on the grill.

Don't overcook the prawns, as they will become rubbery! As soon as they turn pink and opaque, they are ready.

Serve with a fresh salad or rice for a complete meal.
