Steps

1

Prepare Strawberries

Wash the strawberries, hull them, and cut them into smaller cubes. Set aside a few nice berries for garnish.

2

Make Pudding

In a small bowl, mix the pudding powder smoothly with the sugar and about 100 ml (approx. 0.4 cups) of cold milk. Bring the remaining milk to a boil in a saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and, while continuously stirring, pour in the pudding mixture. Return to low heat and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, for about 2-3 minutes.

3

Combine & Chill

Once the pudding has thickened, remove it from the heat and immediately stir in most of the diced strawberries. Divide the cream among four serving dishes or glasses. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill completely and set.

4

Serve

Before serving, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Garnish the pudding creams with the reserved fresh strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream.

Extra Tips

For an even more intense strawberry flavor, purée a small amount of strawberries and stir them into the pudding at the end of cooking.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before serving to ensure it's properly cooled and the flavors meld.

Try it with other berries too, such as raspberries or blueberries!
