ingredients

4 Servings

Steps

1

Preparation

Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and form them into patties about 1.5-2 cm thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Slice the tomato, red onion, and prepare the lettuce leaves and pickles.

2

Cook Patties

Heat a little oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes per side, depending on your desired doneness. In the last minute, place a slice of cheese on each patty and let it melt.

3

Toast Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the inside of the burger buns in a dry pan or toaster until lightly golden brown.

4

Assemble Burger

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the toasted bun, then add the cheesy beef patty. Top with tomato slices, onion rings, and pickles. Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the bun, then place it on top of the burger. Serve immediately!

Extra Tips

Don't press the patties while cooking, as they will lose their juiciness!

Toast the inside of the buns in a dry pan to prevent them from getting soggy from the sauces.

Experiment with different toppings like bacon, avocado, or caramelized onions!
