ingredients
Steps
Prepare Chocolate
Break 100 g of dark chocolate into smaller pieces, then melt it over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring constantly until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
Chocolate Cream
In a cold bowl, whip 100 ml of cold heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the melted, lukewarm chocolate until you get a uniform chocolate cream.
Peanut Butter Cream
In another cold bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Add the remaining 300 ml of cold heavy cream, then whip everything with an electric mixer until you get a light and fluffy cream.
Layer & Chill
Alternately layer the chocolate cream and peanut butter cream into 4 dessert glasses. You can start and finish with either cream. Place the glasses in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the creams to set and the flavors to meld.
Serve
Before serving, sprinkle the cream cups with chopped, roasted peanuts and chocolate shavings. Enjoy!
Extra Tips
► For the best results, make sure both the cream and the bowl are very cold before whipping.
► If you want a more intense peanut flavor, you can use crunchy peanut butter, but the texture won't be completely smooth.
► As a garnish, try a little caramel sauce alongside the peanuts and chocolate!
